The tagline "Energy. Efficiency. Expertise." is incorporated into our logo and describes what we offer our customers:
Energy. CES sells electricity in retail markets to customers ranging in size from single family homes to large commercial office buildings, manufacturers, hospitals and government customers. We closely monitor trends in the wholesale energy marketplace both in terms of pricing, production, and regulations. We are intimately familiar with utility rates and rate structures. This combination of knowledge allows us to advise our customers about electricity purchasing strategies through careful, thorough, and reliable analysis of baseline energy consumption and projections of energy savings.
Efficiency. CES provides energy efficiency services to help customers reduce their energy consumption. Whether it is installing new energy-efficient equipment, helping the facilities team better control existing equipment, introducing or re-commissioning energy management systems, or deploying new technology, the goal is to reduce energy consumption, lower operating costs, and reduce the environmental impact of the customer’s facility. Energy efficiency services are provided through energy saving performance contracts (ESPC) or through design-build contracts.
Expertise. ConEdison Solutions has a staff of experienced energy professionals. Many of our employees have engineering degrees; a significant number are licensed Professional Engineers, some with postgraduate engineering degrees and other advanced certifications, including MBA degrees, law degrees, energy management certifications (CEM) and LEED accreditation. We have provided energy efficiency projects valued at over $250 million to our customers and sell more than $1 billion of electricity annually.
CES is accredited by the National Association of Energy Services Companies as an Energy Service Provider (ESP). ESP is the most comprehensive accreditation that NAESCO provides and as such includes all of the efficiency services offered by energy services companies, as well as energy supply options.
ConEdison Solutions is a proud sponsor of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). ACUPCC is a voluntary agreement signed by college and university presidents to reduce and ultimately eliminate their institutions’ greenhouse gas emissions and to equip society to fight global warming by training the next generation of scientists, business leaders, elected officials and citizens.
